IRAN: STOP THE CRACKDOWN

This just in from MoveOn: I think it's important enough to paste it whole. It's a petition in support of the protesters in Iran. I totally agree that it has to be People not their leaders who have to stand up to the repressive regime in Iran.

The situation in Iran is getting worse, with the regime using escalating violence against protesters. The regime needs to know that the world is watching and expects it to respect the protesters' human rights.

That's why I signed a petition standing with the protesters in Iran and with people all over the world in opposing the crackdown and pressuring the countries with the most influence over Iran to get involved. Can you join me in signing?
